health guidance based upon your unique phsyical and energetic indicators
working with mind, body, and spirit to create a map for healing
If you have had any of the experiences I've had over the years, you're probably weary of the traditional, Western approach to medicine. Deep down, you know there's something more going on within your body, mind, and spirit, than what the doctors are telling you. With my own struggle with Lyme Disease and CFS, I could intuitively sense certain imbalances that I had, but didn't know how to communicate them or have a medical professional confirm my suspicions. After some time, I grew frustrated with the lack of depth in my healthcare, and took matters into my own hands, so to speak.
Drawing on my background in human physiology, my personal experience with chronic illness, and my training in energy work, I realized that there is a calling for people who could combine multiple modalities into one, holistic technique. I know that there is so much more going on than what meets the eye, especially when it comes to complex disease, and I wanted to have a way to help people like you get back in touch with their inner knowing, along with providing personalized guidance for balancing the body's systems.
I like to think of intuitive health counseling as a combination of both, health coaching and energy medicine. I noticed that during many of my Reiki sessions, I would receive images or other intuitive messages about my client's state of wellness, potential causes of their diseases, and possible treatments they could implement to help their bodies to heal. At first, I simply shared them with my clients, as part of our post-session chats. But over time, it became clear that they wanted more depth and more detailed instruction on how to make the changes I had suggested. Thus, the idea for this modality came about!
Each of us is constantly transmitting information about the state of our health every second, and when we can learn to read this "blueprint" of sorts, we can have a much more successful and targeted approach to herbal therapies, dietary changes, and more.
What does a session entail?
Essentially, an intuitive health counseling session with me is fairly similar to what you might experience in any holistic wellness appointment. I've modeled my approach after observing a variety of other holistic professionals like acupuncturists, herbalists, medical intuitives, life coaches, and others.
We sit down to discuss things like your diet, sleep quality, medications, exercise, medical history, etc...and get a good idea of your day to day life. I may lead you through a brief grounding practice to help you get in touch with your own intuition, and ask us both to feel into what may be going on with your body/mind. Then you'll get on the table for some Reiki healing, which also serves to help me tune into your energy field and reveal potential imbalances for us to work on. Afterwards, we will chat about what we both felt and/or saw, and how to implement the right changes to shift your health into a better place! Sometimes I include techniques like: applied kinesiology (muscle testing), chakra clearing, face mapping, guided meditation, aromatherapy, taking pulses, or brief (fully clothed) physical manipulation. Whatever your blueprint calls for, we will explore during our time together!
Following your session, if you desire, I can coach you through making positive, supportive changes for your mind and body. Regular sessions are encouraged, so we can both assess your progress and tweak our approach over time.
I offer two ways to experience my intuitive health counseling: over distance (via phone or Skype) and in-person. I currently only offer in-person sessions at the client's home. Having me travel to your home is wonderful for people who struggle with mobility/chronic illness issues!
We're not able to go as in-depth over distance, and can't include things like muscle testing, face mapping, or aromatherapy. Because of these limitations, distance sessions are known as "mini-sessions," and come with lower prices. Full sessions are conducted in person, and are typically longer. Depending on your location (distance from North Denver), a small travel fee may apply.
