How To Get Started With The Medical Medium Protocols

Hello dear friends!

If you’ve been following me on Instagram, especially if you’ve been watching my stories, you’ll know that I’ve been doing Medical Medium protocols for a little while now. I found Anthony’s first book nearly three years ago, and played around with a lot of the wisdom in it, but didn’t really fully commit until recently, after this pretty nasty relapse of my Lyme/EBV symptoms.

I honestly believe, for the first time in the course of my illness, that I am finally on the right track for my healing, and I’ve found the truth. I know many people will disagree with me, and that’s okay. The information in Medical Medium, and his other three books, goes against a lot of the conventional wisdom out there right now, and it can be scary making this leap! Especially for any of us who have a background in clinical science/medicine/any other conventional health field!

I’ve committed to following these protocols, and to devoting my health coaching practice to this way of living as well. I do get a lot of questions from people about the MM protocols, and how to start. After all, they require a bit more effort, planning, dedication, and ultimately, faith, than many other methods of “managing” chronic illness. And while I’m on the subject, this isn’t about managing symptoms, or just finding what works to “get you through the day.” No sir. This guidance, these protocols, are designed to help you HEAL by addressing the root cause of chronic illnesses like Lyme Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, MS, SIBO, and many others.

This is a commitment to finally getting WELL. Will it be easy? Hell no. But will it be worth it? I do truly believe so.

If you’re reading this so far and you’re super lost, thinking “wtf is the Medical Medium anyway, and why am I reading this blog?” then I’d recommend you familiarize yourself with Anthony and his work. Pick up the first book- I promise it’ll blow your mind and hopefully resonate with you like it did me! If you already have an idea of what the MM protocols are, or you’ve read the books, perhaps you’re a bit overwhelmed and you’re not sure where to begin. If that’s you, then let’s just jump right in!

Here are my tips for how to get started with the Medical Medium protocols:

1. Identify your “why”

Please please please resist the urge to skip this step. Because there are slightly different protocols for each illness/symptom profile, I recommend taking a few minutes to identify your “problem areas.” Make a list of your top 5-10 illness symptoms that you struggle with. Familiarize yourself with the MM perspective of what causes those symptoms. This will come in handy as you track your progress!

2. Start with celery juice

It’s not just a fad- celery juice is a foundational piece of the Medical Medium lifestyle. It will be helpful, no matter what kind of illness you’re dealing with! 16 ounces of pure celery juice on an empty stomach every morning is a powerful ritual for mind/body/spirit transformation. If you have trouble tolerating that much, start smaller with 6-8 ounces and work your way up. Need help on how to make it the right way, or have other questions? 3. Eat one fully raw meal every day

The MM protocols are all about the healing powers of raw fruits and veggies, so if you’re used to eating all cooked/processed foods, go slowly. Aim for one raw meal a day. This can be a smoothie (super easy for beginners), a big salad, a bowl of cucumber/zucchini noodles, or a plate of fresh fruit. Infuse your bod with nutrients and start your detoxification process, without overwhelming yourself.

4. Pick 2-3 supplements

Trust me, the urge to pile up a dozen supps right out of the gate is strong, but it can backfire big time! Not only is it expensive, but you won’t know what’s working and what’s not, or what might be causing uncomfortable side effects/detox reactions. GO SLOWLY. Pick 2-3 (no more than 5) supplements that are targeted for your condition (Anthony outlines these in his books), and start ONE at a time. My recommendations for baseline supps? This B-12, this Ester-C, and this liquid zinc.

5. Eliminate unhelpful foods

This step may have to be broken down into several mini-steps, and that’s okay. Just start somewhere. The unhelpful foods that feed viruses and bacteria, and are hindering your healing include: eggs, dairy, corn, soy, gluten, canola oil, pork, added flavorings (including “natural flavors” and other potential sources of MSG), and of course, artificial additives. If you are still eating some or most of these foods, start cutting them out. You may not feel amazing right away, but you’re clearing the way for your efforts to actually make a difference!

6. Get connected to the community

The Medical Medium lifestyle has a HUGE, vibrant online community. There are thousands of people on Instagram and Facebook who are following these protocols and sharing their amazing healing stories. Reach out and find these people. Follow other MM peeps and coaches. Stay tuned for Anthony’s latest blogs and radio shows. Immerse yourself in the tribe. This makes a tremendous difference in whether you stick to these protocols or not, especially on days when you’re struggling.

7. Find your faith

Yes, this way of living requires faith. It goes against convention. It may contradict what your (well-meaning) physician says. It likely will make you stand out among your friends and family. It can be, and will be, uncomfortable at times. Taking healing information from Spirit and Mother Nature requires some deep intuitive work, reflection, dedication, and TRUST. Do things to tap into this flow of energy. Meditate. Sit in nature. Pray to God or the angels/guides who are here to help you. Get Reiki or other energy work. Read uplifting books. Start daily spiritual rituals.
